Despite this great achievement, Michael Chabon is most famous for his novel, Wonder Boys, which has been made into a movie of the same name by Paramount Pictures. Wonder Boys represents the author's second novel and third published tome. His first novel, The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, was originally written as his college thesis and later published in 1988. He followed this first novel with a collection of short stories entitled A Model World and Other Stories. After Wonder Boys, Chabon published another collection of short stories, this one entitled Werewolves in Their Youth. His third novel, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay, was published in hardcover in 2001 and recently won the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. Elongated paperback is now available for all his titles.
