Name officially used by Mia Rosales-St. John, a Mexican-American female boxer who was born in San Francisco and raised in California's San Fernando Valley.

Mia got her start in Tae Kwon Do, earning a black belt and a record of 27-1. However, she is better known as a boxer with a record of 25-1-1 since her debut on February 14, 1997. As with most female boxers, her wins are split about evenly between KO and decisions. Aiding her has been her ex-husband, Kristoff St. John of American soap opera "The Young and the Restless", and her family. Her main competitive rival is arguably Christy Martin, with whom she will fight on December 6, 2002 after a great deal of speculation and postponement.

Mia gained a little notoriety by posing as Miss November 1999 in Playboy magazine, in a controversial pictorial that maintained a boxing theme (or so I'm told). She has also appeared on a 2002 episode of Comedy Central's "The Man Show," as well as "Turn Ben Stein On" and a special boxing edition of "Win Ben Stein's Money."
