A truckle shaped hard cheese, produced in England, of unpasteurised cow's milk, with a fat content of 45%.

Menallack Farmhouse is un-renneted and therefore vegetarian, and has a hard brown natural rind. At two months ageing, it's interior is soft and creamy, and with more age becomes firmer. A special variety is available with chives and garlic.

It is an excellent cheese for sauces and for grilling. It has won bronze in the British Cheese Awards.
