The Mathematics Society, or MathSoc, is an organization to which several thousand undergraduate students in the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada pay student fees.

It maintains an office (MC 3038) staffed by volunteers, supervises a coffee shop, and acts as the nominal student government for math students. It also supervises several student clubs and the math faculty student publication, mathNEWS.

MathSoc's official mandate, at the time of writing, is: to promote and co-ordinate student participation in athletic, cultural, social, academic and recreational activities; to provide services to undergraduates in the faculty; encourage inter-student communication and co-operation; increase awareness of the Faculty of Mathematics in the outside community; and to aid in and give a forum for student representation within the faculty of Mathematics and the University of Waterloo as a whole.
