The child is playing effortlessly
its red overall in stark contrast
to the green grass.

Her father, with the camera
avoids seizing her space
constantly adjusting the focus.

Her shadow points towards the lense
and she crawls anywhere she likes
unexpectedly, in his direction.

He, however, will look at the photo
and will be disappointed by the background
although she is smiling.

He waits for a sober moment,
when she has stopped clapping
to make the best picture of the day.

This is inspired by an article in a German early 80s magazine for photography.
