The Madison Scouts are a drum corps, based out of Madison, WI. The group was founded in 1938, at which point its members were all Boy Scouts. Since that time, the corps has changed to include members who are not Scouts, but remains entirely male. The corps' signature formation is a fleur-de-lis, and the Scouts are always a crowd pleaser. (There's what amounts to an audience tradition of booing the judges' decision when the Scouts don't win first place, then applauding wildly to show the corps just how much they love them.) This corps often places highly at DCI World Championships.
