Minor character from The Simpsons. Voiced by actress Beverly D'Angelo.
Lurleen was a waitress and aspiring country singer at the "Beer 'N Brawl" the night Homer Simpson--fresh from a fight with Marge-- came in and "discovered" her. Homer became Lurleen's manager and subsequently sunk the family's savings into financing her career.
Lurleen became enamoured with Homer and sneaked love messages into her country tunes in an effort to seduce him. Homer eventually had to choose between managing Lurleen and keeping his family. He sold Lurleen's contract to some sleazy guy for $50.
Lurleen later appeared in the classic "Monorail" episode of The Simpsons looking like a old worn out crack whore.
