Lolland is a fairly large island lying between the northern coast of
Pommerania (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern), Germany, and Zealand
(Sjælland), Denmark. It is Denmark's third largest island (if you
don't count Jylland), and unlike its neighbours of Møn and Falster,
consists largely of a few scattered sights, and is much easier to explore if
one has one's own transport. It is connected to Falster by two bridges, and
by ferry to Fyn. The main city/town is Nakskov.
