A semi-derisive term used to refer to the post-consolidation behemoth that is the Lockheed Martin Corporation, a huge U.S. defense contractor. Between Lockheed and Boeing, most of the midsized aerospace contractors have been subsumed into one or the other parent companies, spawning the nicknames 'Bloating' and 'Lock-Mart'. The name derives from the 'one stop shopping' chains of stores Wal-Mart and K-Mart, and from the name of the firm.
