The term "Little Jackson" is a recently-coined slang term, roughly synonymous with "old school." Its etymology: The new US currency anti-counterfeiting measures introduced larger portraits on the bills -- most notably, the lovely new rendering of Andrew Jackson, ushering in the "Big Jackson" era. "Little Jackson" refers to the simpler times that came before, and it's sundry effects.
