The only castmember of Friends to receive an Emmy Award for her work on the show playing ditzy Phoebe.

Studied at Vassar College in NY recieved a B.S. in Biology. She originally planned to go to medical school so she could work with her father Lee Kudrow (a high-profile expert on headaches.)

After getting the "acting" bug, she moved to LA and joined the famous Groundlings comedy troupe and met Conan O'Brien. The two dated briefly.

She appeared on numerous telelvision shows but her big break came playing a ditzy waitress on Mad About You. After that came Friends.

Unlike her co-workers on the show, Lisa has appeared in some pretty good movies including: Mother, The Opposite of Sex, and Analyze This.

She is married and has one child.
