Leatherback

Leatherback sea turtles are the largest of the marine reptiles weighing up to 900 kg (2000 lb). The leatherback migrates over 5000 km (3100 mi) between nesting sites and feeding sites and can dive over 1000 m (3300 ft) to feed. Its diet is primarily jelly fish.

A large sea turtle (Sphargis coriacea), having no bony shell on its back. It is common in the warm and temperate parts of the Atlantic, and sometimes weighs over a thousand pounds; -- called also leather turtle, leathery turtle, leather-backed tortoise, etc.
