LED tail lights are becoming more popular with large delivery trucks, semis, and they were even introduced to consumers with the 2000 Cadillac Deville. They are brighter, take up considerably less space (leaving you more trunk room), use a fraction of the electricity as incandescent bulbs, have a much longer MTBF, and they light up in less than a tenth of the time it takes for an incandescent bulb to light up. This means they are safer on vehicles, especially at high-speed interstate driving. Consider LED brake lights for your next vehicle purchase, because they just look cool!
