"LAWyer run CAPitalism".

According to R. Buckminster Fuller, our current economic situation is the outgrowth of Thomas Malthus' concept that population increase will always outstrip the increase in known resources. Therefore, human existence is a massive competition in which the smartest are the only ones who will have any measure of comfort, and the majority of the population is doomed to have nothing.

Thus, the lawyers work the laws and control the capital to make sure that themselves and their own Have, at the expense of others who Have Not.

Fuller argues that Malthus made a critical error in his estimations- technology allows one to do more with less, and thus makes it so that less effort must be expended to live, and resources are used more efficiently. Therefore, the answer is not more power, but more technology.
