Drenai King, son of
Orien. He became king of the Drenai after Orien hid the
Armor of Bronze and withdrew from public life. Many considered him a weak man, and not a good ruler. He was always looking for
peace. As part of his attempts to find it, he scaled down the armies of
Drenai, making a demonstration to all of his peaceful intentions. Unfortunately, the
Vagrians took this sign of peace as a perfect opportunity to invade and conquer the Drenai. Niallad gathered his generals when the
Vagrians invaded, but was shot in the back by
Waylander as he walked through his garden. His death allowed the Vagrians to further invade Drenai lands.
