soy sauce. It can be sweet (ketjap manis) or salty (ketjap asin). The salty kind of ketjap is not all that different from the
Chinese- or
Japanese-style soy sauce you can find in pretty much any
supermarket in America, so feel free to substitute those in any
recipe that calls for ketjap.
