Baldur's Gate II character who didn't impress me one bit when I first found him. Sure - Paladins are nifty, but at first glance I didn't like the Inquisitor kit all that much.

I've changed my mind. Even before I decided the Inquisitors rock I found the Holy Avenger. And unless you're a Paladin - he's the only guy in the game who can use it. And it's just plain silly to turn down a +5/+10 sword that casts dispel magic on its target with every single blow.

What's more - the Inquisitor kit is amazing. Sure, he doesn't get any cleric spell progression, no laying on hands, and no turn undead. But what he does get is better... Dispel Magic as a natural ability at twice his level and True Seeing to boot. That made up my mind right away.
