KRIPOS is short for Kriminalpolitisentralen, "the Criminal Police Central". Located in Oslo, Norway. They deal with all investigations that the local Norwegian police can't solve, mostly murders and disapperances. They operate out of their one office in Oslo, and fly to the district that needs assistance. This keeps the cost down, but makes for a lot of traveling days for the people that work there. KRIPOS have police officers, detectives and lab workers as the main core of the force. KRIPOS is under the justice department in the command chain and answers to the police director in Norway.
