Science fiction author. His books include Noir, and two sequels to Blade Runner/Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?. The sequels are not considered by connoisseurs to be any good, being far more in K. W. Jeter's darker style than Philip K. Dick's. He has also written some standard Star Wars/Star Trek pulp fiction. Was also a friend of Philip K. Dick.

Jeter also has written a few actually good books. The Glass Hammer is a decent cyberpunk-style adventure while Dr. Adder is a dandy post-Dick effort that he had trouble getting published because the basic conceit involves an evil doctor who sells body modification surgery for the purposes of sexual gratification.
