Joseph Mazzello, born September 21st, 1983 in Rhinebeck, NY, has acted in numerous films (15 as of 2002). His first major role was in Radio Flyer (1992) as Bobby, the flashback of the narrator who reflects and conveys his dark childhood. He began filming this role on his 7th birthday. Joseph Mazzello was a possibility for include the role of Robin Williams' son in Hook but Steven Spielberg decided the part was to small for him. Also, he was offered the role of Tom Hank’s son in Sleepless in Seattle and the role of Scotty Smalls in The Sandlot but turned them both down so he could appear in Jurassic Park (acting possibilities source: Joseph Mazzello Fan Club)
