Singer/Songwriter who hails from Fort Worth, TX. Wrote many hit songs for the rock group Bloodrock in the 1970's before embarking on a solo recording career. His songs are
unique in both their musical quirkiness and unpretentious lyrics, many of which deal with sociological, moral, and politcial issues in a surprsingly non-ham-fisted way--setting them apart from much of the so-called "conscience-rock" of the times, most of which resorted to self-conscious, heavy-handed rhetoric to make its "point." Nitzinger's songs are as much a breath of fresh air today as they were when first recorded.
