According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Jenny Horn was the last person executed for witchcraft in the UK. She was burned alive in June of 1722 at Dornoch, Highland.

Both she and her daughter were tried by the deputy sheriff of Sutherland, Captain David Ross, but only Jenny was executed because it was ascertained that her daughter was a victim of her witchcraft.

It has been noted elsewhere that there may have been a misdating and Jenny Horn may have actually been executed in 1727, but 1722 is accepted and it is the date Guinness lists.
