Jean Reno

A French badass is a rare thing indeed. Mr. Reno proves he's got the cajones to carry any kick-ass role with deft skill and panache in a double handful of movies. Some of my favorites include:

• Léon: Léon, the assassin who's so very good at his job he uses stealth and a knife to inhume his targets
• Mission: Impossible: Franz Kreiger, the mysterious (and ultimately traitorious) helicopter pilot and psychopath
• Nikita: Victor the Cleaner, the final word in wetworks

Actually Jean Reno is not French. He was born as "Juan Moreno" in Morrocco to Spanish parents. Despite his obvious "lazy french eyes" he is Spanish.

I can only assume that since he spoke French and has a French accent when he speaks English, he changed his name to fit his part.
