Vice President of Business Engineering for Rational Software. He is one of the leading software development methodologists in the world and has written several books on the subject. He was involved in the developement of UML. He is also one of the three amigos.

Swedish engineer. Prior to being one of the three amigos, Ivar Jacobson used his 20 year plus experience of the software industry (mainly at Ericsson) to create Objectory, a software design method.
