A very introspective Beach Boys song written by Brian Wilson. This comes from the mid 60's period when the Wilson Brothers, Mike Love, and Al Jardine were getting tired of writing songs about beaches, surfing, and getting laid. Brian began retreating into a hermit like existence, which may explain the songs premise, that there is one safe place where he could "do his crying and his sighing".
