Imperiet was a Swedish bands during the 80-ies. Rose from the remains of Ebba Grön and Rymdimperiet. The frontman was as in the other band Joakim Thåström. They achived great success during their active time and did a tour in the USA and central America even though the lyrics was in swedish. However they did release an english album in connection with the US tour. In 1989 the 3 remaining band members had gotten enough and an era in Swedish rock music was over.
Joakim Thåström countinued with his solocareer and with an industrial project called Peace Love and Pitbulls.
Christian Falk continued as a producer and recently released his first solo album Quelle Bordelle, with a lot of famous artists like swedish soul singer Robyn.
