If there's a will, I hope I'm in it.
Just something to think about.
Not because it makes you confront mortality, but because it forces you confront your reality. It helps you find the truth in your relationship.

Look. I like you. I love you. You mean a lot to me. I want you. I need you. You are the world to me.

Is it the same for you?

Like telling someone you love them, you now have to analyze what is what in this 'thing' the two of you have.

If there's a will, have you put me in? Do you value me as much as you would a mother, sister, uncle? Are you thinking of me in your future? Are you thinking of me even in your slow demise?

Not that I want your money when you're gone.
Not that I want your books.
Not that I want you to go at all.
But I wonder if you are concerned about me and how I would manage.
It would feel good to know that you were thinking of me even as you were leaving me behind.
It would be a slight comfort.

I have a will. You're in it.
