As I tour guide these streets

(this is where I used to live)

I take off my shoes
Walk barefoot picking glass from my feet
And make a greenhouse

Where I’ll grow nothing but sunflowers
Hide in their leaves until summer strokes my skin
Leaving love bites

That look like a sunset
With a rowing boat moored in the foreground
The horizon kissing its bow
