A football (real football, not that American thing with all the padding and the stopping) song. Often "sung" by Notts County; also "sung" by the English fans at the World Cup in Mexico in 1986.
Lyrics
I had a wheelbarrow, the wheel fell off;
I had a wheelbarrow, the wheel fell off;
I had a wheelbarrow, the wheel fell off;
I had a wheelbarrow, the wheel fell off.
Verses 1 to n are identical. This gives an insight into the mentality of the average football fan.
Incidentally, this sort of thing keeps me a creationist. What evolutionary process could come up with a bunch of creatures that could write something so futile, and then find it really, really funny? Of course, the next question is: what kind of God would do this either? I believe that this kind of thing is a side-effect of that which makes us special and unique. The alternative viewpoint, of course, is that we are all stupid and doomed.
