I was once offered a fine delicacy while in
Okinawa. A friend of mine was a
friend of a
restaurant owner in
Naha. We went there often and he would usually prepare special things for us. We got to see him
fillet and cut
fresh fish and bring it to our table.
He once asked if we would like some Horse Sashimi, but we refused.
I regret it to this day.
My point: There is some really nasty stuff out there, and I was too much of a sissy to try some of it.
Try everything, if just to tell your friends that you did it.
