In Gloranthan mythology, the Horse goddess. Hippoi was originally Hippogriff, daughter of King Griffon, Yelm's son Yamsur's mount in God Time. Storm Bull tore out her fangs, Maran Gor broke her legs and ruined her claws, and Zorak Zoran ripped off her wings. The mortal hero Haylor, a descendant of Yamsur, befriended Hippoi before the Dawning of Time, and founded the generations of the Horse Nomads.
