Hed Kandi is a record label and also a radio show on JazzFM, London. They
specialize in club music;
garage,
disco,
funk,
house and
soul and
have by now put out a number of
stylish double-cd
compilations
with names like
Nu Cool (soul and funk),
Deeper (house),
Beach House (soft summer stuff) and
Winter Chill (
chill out
tracks). Most of it is great stuff and good value for money, especially since
many of the songs are only ever released on
vinyl and impossible to get
you hands on if you are a cd-person (I'm one of them).
