Harima, one of the 68 ancient provinces of Japan, was situated in what is now Hyogo Prefecture in the Kinki region of Japan. Harima bordered Tajima, Tamba, Settsu, Bizen, and Mimasaka provinces. The great battle of Minatogawa took place in Harima province, near what is now modern-day Kobe.
