The HVSC team (consisting of approximately 13 people) is a dedicated group whose mission is to collect every piece of music ever produced for the popular Commodore 64 homecomputer (whose soundchip is called SID).
One of the major goals of the HVSC is to be a consistent collection, where each music file has correct credits. The maintainers therefore are trying to get in contact with the various SID musicians to ensure the information (title, copyright, etc.) of each tune is correct.
The HVSC is a freeware collection, and is available from http://hvsc.c64.org
The files in the HVSC can be replayed with the
SIDPLAY tool on various platforms.
