Groovy beach in
Hermanus,
South Africa which has a really nice stretch of coastline. Grotto Beach is reasonably long (one or two kilometers) and nice and flat which makes it an excellent choice for playing
frisbee,
aerobie,
touch rugby(or "touchies").
cricket,
volleyball, walking the dog or just lazing around in the sun all day.
Not a good
beach for
swimming, though, since the
water temperature seldom reaches anything above 15C due to the
Arctic flow from the
South, but there are huge
breakers which makes it a good
surfing spot (although the breakers are not as large as in
Hawaii)
