Took place Sunday, November 26, 2000, in Calgary, Alberta. The B.C. Lions defeated the Montreal Alouettes 28-26.

Towards the end, it was a close game. Down by two points with 44 seconds to play, Montreal failed at a two point conversion that would have tied the game.

This is the first time in the Canadian Football League that a team with a losing record (B.C. was 8-10 that season) won the Grey Cup.
