A peninsula on Nantucket, MA, USA. It is a sandy strip of land, less than 500 meters across, ending in slightly larger bulge which actually has some vegatation. On the eastern side is the Atlantic Ocean and on the western is Nantucket Sound. The rips off Great Point are a great place to fish, especially for bluefish. As there are no roads, access is either via boat or by driving down the beach in a 4x4 (which requires a permit).

Also the name of the lighthouse located there.
