There's nothing like being so drowsy you can barely
bring yourself into bed, and finally finding an end
to the day once you've drowned under the covers

The whole world fades out of existence,
and a sluggishness saturates your entire being
Not quite awake, but not quite asleep,
floating in this wonderful limbo

And the best part, waking up in the middle of the night,
knowing there's so many more hours to go
and who cares about living
when you can simulate being dead right here?
