A pretty, naughty and stuck-up girl (usually portrayed with blonde hair) who lives near a forest, star of the fairytale Goldilocks and the Three Bears. She must obviously be quite heavy ... and I guess she must like porridge (although we have no idea which types of porridge), which might be the reason for her being overweight.

Some versions of the story have her making friends with Baby Bear ... other versions have her running away or even being ripped apart by the returning bears.

She appears to have been tried for breaking and entering numerous times, typically by students learning about law, although most of these trials don't actually seem to have her present to defend herself, which doesn't really seem very fair.

Also a character in Lord of The Rings, Goldilocks Gamgee: the daughter of the Prolific Master Samwise Gamgee. She married Faramir Took in 1463.

Gold"i*locks` (?), n.

Same as Goldylocks.
