Tacky yet massively entertaining late-night TV show which was a springboard for the TV career of Davina McCall.

Set in a studio decorated in primary colours and filled with eager young girl's, who looked like their parents were related to them in two different ways, the show encouraged the six male contestants to compete for the title of God's Gift.

Stuart "It's a knockout" Hall provided the saucy commentary as the lads participated in a series of cringe-worthy tasks designed to impress the audience.

Davina was in charge of the proceedings, revving up the girlies and being cheeky with the chappies.

Too-fit-to-be-straight Glen led the geezers on and off stage and was the only good-looking guy ever to go near the show.

I used to stumble home from the pub while at Uni and delight in watching the antics of the participants - I'd even watch the repeat later in the week.

Highlights included a Springer-like confessions round and an eating-chocolate-out-of-some-random-slappers-belly-button round.

Truly inspirational!
