Glayva is really nice, sweet, strong liqueur which hails from Edinuburgh in Scotland.

It's actually based on a blend of Scotch whisky's, but this is not particularly obvious, as tastewise it is nearer to Cointreau or Irish Mist.

The recipe includes tangerine, honey and other herbs.

It is best drunk on the rocks, or can be drunk neat. If you've never tried it and you like sweet, strong liqueurs (35% by volume) then I'd very much recommend it, it's really great!
