With a name that pokes fun at Jimmy Dean sausages, Gimme Lean is an amazingly tasty vegetarian meat substitute from a company called LightLife. It comes packaged much like Jimmy Dean sausages, that is in a plastic wrapper shaped like a cylinder with the sides capped off by small metal bands.

Gimme Lean can be used in any recipe calling for chop meat, ground meat or hamburger meat. It comes in two flavors now, beef and sausage.
