Funk Fingers are the name of the drumstick devices used by Tony Levin of Peter Gabriel and King Crimson fame to create extra-funky sounds on his bass guitar.

Funk Fingers were designed by Levin's guitar tech, Andy Moore, in an attempt to more easily recreate the effect of drumming on one's bass as done by Jerry Marotta for Peter Gabriel's "Big Time." The original Funk Fingers were strapped to the fingers, and after some experimentation with cutouts and elastic and such, Levin decided the most comfortable design took advantage of a rubber cap at the end of the fingers, as well as making the Funk Fingers two different lengths for his index and middle fingers.
