Headlined by the Antipypr himself, bagpipe maestro Neil Anderson, the Full Circle Band was a Celtic-whatever band that just didn't fit into a particular genre. Their sole release, Irish Music in America, Volume Two included high-energy arrangements of traditional music and experimental tunes that by all rights should not have worked. But somehow they pulled off tunes like the bagpipes-meet-Studio 54 "Scottish Disco Set." (I swear I am not making this up.)
Anderson's bandmates were the brothers Jimmy Kelly, Jr. and Denis Kelly. The Full Circle Band, named after Anderson's first post-Seven Nations solo album, toured the festival circuit throughout most of 2000 until Anderson's personal challenges apparently led to the band's dissolution.
