Four Tet is Kieran Hebden's solo project since 1997 (he is also the guitarist of postrock outfit Fridge).

The style is a very nice calm mix of the sampladelics of the likes of DJ Shadow and Kieran's own guitar-playing, chopped and looped. The result is incredibly musical. Lately, Kieran has also been making remixes for such bigshots as Aphex Twin and Slag Boom Van Loon (Mike Paradinas/µ-Ziq)
I especially recommend the new Pause.
