You will need
Put pasta in large pan of boiling water and cook for 8-12 minutes for dried pasta, 2-3 minutes for fresh pasta.
Meanwhile melt the butter in a small saucepan, add the mushrooms and fry for 2-3 minutes. Add the strips of ham and nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the cream and simmer for 2 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Drain the pasta and stir in the sauce and Paramesan coating the pasta evenly.
