The little doodad that protects the Original Nintendo Game Boy's EXT CONNECTOR, which is used for two-player games. Although the Game Boy Compact Video Game System Owner's Manual specifically advises owners to "Be careful not to lose the extension connector cover while playing," many Game Boy players have lost this essential piece of equipment. It's likely these are the same people who use nickel-cadmium batteries in their Game Boys and don't take "a ten- to fifteen-minute break once every two hours to avoid fatigue." I haven't lost my cover yet, but I've come close many times.

If you've lost your connector cover, don't worry. You can order a new one from Nintendo for 1 American dollar (50 cents plus 50 cents postage and handling)! The connector cover is Nintendo Part No. 18099.
