Exfiltrate is a verb that means to remove or withdraw someone or something stealthily from an enemy-held or hostile area. It can be used to refer to members of the military, intelligence agents, or other isolated personnel, as well as to (sensitive) data. Exfiltrate has been known to be abbreviated as exfil.
