Evisuis a designer clothing brand established in 1991 in Osaka, Japan. When Evisu was established, they only produced jeans. However now they have developed the business and made suits, sues and so on.
Evisu’s some parts of producing method are the same process as Japanese traditional dyers did. Therefore the size and colour of individual jeans is slightly different. However, its traditional dyeing is highly evaluated and some of other jean brand such as G-star learned and adopted that method.
The seagull logo on the back is a parody of that of Levi Strauss & Co (painting for evisu whereas sewing for Levi’s).
