One of the idioms I used to live by.
Anything is okay, if you do it in moderation.
And conversely, anything can go sour if you do/have it in excess.

I drink, but only socially.
Nothing wrong with eating junk food every now and then, just have a balanced meal every now and then too.
Exercising is good, but not for two hours a day.
Sure, go ahead and read those magazines, but read something solid afterwards.

Get my drift?
I'm generally a pretty safe, stable person.

And then...drumroll, please...
Then I found Everything.
And suddenly, I'm trying to stick to one of my rules:
Everything in moderation.

I can't spend all my time on E2?
I shouldn't be mentally trying to noderize my pet peeves?
Is there truly something wrong with my excitement over getting mail from Segnbora-T?

I used to live that saying, but I can't seem to make it work here.

I think I am addicted to Everything.
I don't think this is a bad thing.
And that's slightly unnerving.

What happened to my reserve?
Where did my defensive attitude disappear to?
Why am I drawn to this community?
Is it a bad thing?

I love this place.
This is my new life, everybody.

I propose a toast:
To Everything in moderation, besides for Everything.

A quote from Charles Dickens' "A tale of two cities", where the lazy drunken lawer Sidney Carton tells his new found friend that it is not good to do everything in moderation, and the only thing he does do in moderation is work.
